Harveys Butchers - Game

Harveys supply all aspects of game ready for the oven. Careful grading of the animals ensures the customer has the right meat for the dish. Older animals will require longer and slower cooking, while young animals are more suitable for fast roasting and quick cooking.

Anomalies

• Although Hares may be killed throughout the year, they may NOT be sold between March 1st and July 31st.
• While ducks can be killed during the season September 1st to January 31st, they can NOT be sold between March 1st and August 31st.
• Wild Geese - those species that may be killed must not be offered for sale.
• Venison - due to the various species of venison now available, it will be mostly fresh throughout the year.
